  3. The enclosed files are my DesqView 2.0 files.  They have been working well
  4. for me for several months now.
  5.  
  6. A few notes that you should be aware of, that may effect whether these files
  7. are usable by you, unmodified:

  9. 1) my hardware consists of:
  10.    An IDS 286 Turbo, with 512k on the motherboard
  11.    An AST RAMPage card, with 2meg
  12.    A CGA video card
  13.  
  14.    The rest of my hardware is irrelevant as far as DV is concerned.
  15.  
  16. 2) I am running node 1 & 2 in the low 640k, with it split evenly between the
  17.    2 nodes.
  18.    Node 3 is run in the 'high' memory, with the partition size set for 220k
  19.    and swapable.
  20.    Nodes 1 & 2 are set (as they MUST be) unswapable.
  21.  
  22. 3) Your available memory partition size has a direct relationship with the
  23.    amount of memory on your motherboard (less is better) and the type of
  24.    video card(s) you have in the system (CGA is better, EGA is best, Mono
  25.    is a disaster!) See the appendix of your DesqView manual for explanation.

  31. P3-PIF.DVP = node #3 PCBoard (local node only)

  34. S3-PIF.DVP = node #3 PCBSetUp
  35. SM-PIF.DVP = PCBSystemManager
  36. PM-PIF.DVP = PCBMoni
